Ajang Golden Globe Awards siap kembali digelar pada 2023 mendatang. Salah satu ajang penghargaan paling bergengsi dalam industri persinemaan ini pun telah mengumumkan deretan film dan serial yang masuk ke nominasinya. Nantinya, pemenang dari setiap nominasi tersebut akan diumumkan pada gelaran Golden Globes 2023 yang berlangsung pada 10 Januari mendatang.
Dalam gelaran Golden Globes 2023 ini, film The Banshees of Inisherin (2022) berhasil mendominasi. Film garapan Martin McDonagh masuk ke total delapan nominasi, termasuk untuk kategori “Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy” dan juga “Best Director”.
Namun, film yang menjadi highlight pengumuman nominasi Golden Globes 2023 justru adalah Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022) yang hanya dapat dua nominasi. Nominasi itu adalah “Best Supporting Actress – Motion Picture” untuk Angela Basset dan “Best Original Song”. Namun, nominasi untuk Angela Basset itu menjadi pertama kali dalam sejarah film MCU dapat nominasi akting di Golden Globes.
