Setelah mengumpulkan lima nominasi dari gelaran Golden Globe 2020, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019) berhasil sabet tiga piala. Di ajang penghargaan Golden Golden 2020 tersebut, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood mengalahkan nomine lain seperti Noah Baumbach (Marriage Story), duet Bong Joon-ho bersama Han Jin-won (Parasite), Anthony McCarten (The Two Popes), dan Steven Zaillian (The Irishman).
